Job Description:
1. As project superintendent, you'll be the continuous onsite company representative.
2. You'll be in charge of day to day activities at your jobsite(s).
3. You'll apprise the project manager of your job's status, via conversations, meetings and your written daily reports.
4. You'll look ahead to spot potential problems and deal with them in a timely manner.
5. You'll know your project's plans better than anyone; even the designer. You won't allow yourself to be surprised by something which someone brings to your attention regarding the plans.
6. You'll deal with subcontractors' problems, making it as easy as possible for them to do their work.
7. Pay is generally based upon carpenters prevailing wage rates with fringe benefit portion paid into personal 401(k) account. |

Job Requirements:
1. Must be able to run a building project including; coordinating subcontractors, material delivery, company labor forces and inspections.
2. Must be able to drive a project schedule in the field.
3. Must be able to communicate effictively both in writing as well as verbally.
4. Must have strong commitment to jobsite safety.
5. Proficiency in MS Word, and MS Excel preferred.
6. Familiarity with Primavera Suretrak preferred.
7. Familiarity with public works construction very important.

4. Prepare progress pay applications.
5. Prepare change proposals. Negotiate same with Owner's Representative.
6. Responsible for job profit.
7. Answers to the President.
8. Salary and benefits are negotiable. |
